1 where do you live & what do you do
well right now I am bumming around in San Francisco for the next couple of months waiting for the festivals to kick off (coachella, symbiosis, and burning man to name a few) and shooting random oddities. I have some work being featured in the next issue of this awesome art magazine Musee
2 a) how did you get started
it depends on when you think the beginning is? I would say my beginning was when I moved to Los Angeles in 2006 and started shooting everything and going to school for photography at Santa Monica College. I made a lot of great connections and gained an immeasurable amount of wisdom about life
b) what makes your work important to you
I think my work is important because its my world. My loves. My fears. My memories. My vices. My therapy. It is my truth and imagination in a polarizing dance
c) sunrise or sunset
Sunrise. I will always pick a new awakening or beginning because I always want to be excited for a new day. But hey who am I kidding I can barely get up before noon

4 what inspires you
I love to see and read things that change my perception on reality. Any unconventional avant garde fashion
5 describe a rich moment in your life, all 5 senses
I am sitting on top of my friends art car 20 feet in the air. I have an accomplished calm. I can feel the heat of the man burning a few hundred yards away. Looking below I see the chaos of people below in celebration of the past week and birthing of a new. I can taste the flames they are so close. The night air is crisp as if to be taunting the fire to play. I can hear the sounds of a thousand songs. I take one small hit of DMT and my world disintegrates. I can’t explain to you what happened after that, it is something that can only be felt for ones self. Burning Man 2011
6 “free ride anywhere” where would you go
I would probably take a private jet to Sweden. If I got a free ride I might as well take full advantage of it right? Sweden has such awesome culture, design, and fashion that really resonates with me
7 what do you admire in other people
I admire those who walk their own path, the weird, and ones that can change my beliefs and open my mind to other worlds
8 outfit you love to wear
well my most prized possessions are a set of lazer cut stainless steal multi finger rings that a friend down in LA made for me. I always have those rings on
9 message to your future self
Casino, no matter what remember that hoverboards don’t float on water….
10 “power animal” do you have one
well I just asked one of my best friends and she said a crane because I am long, lanky, and majestic
